ref the Photo nonsense. I have been asked what I was doing taking Photos in local shopping precinct Using a "proper Camera"
It was a lady from the Thomas Cook travel agent... Rainy day .... folks looking at sunshine breaks as you do in depths of winter. What was she bothered about Smart suit no brains
Other event I was taking shots of Old Coffee shop outside and in the inside is all old Mahogany draws and balance scales coffee grinders and roasting making the place smell great
I Had asked the assistant if it was okay to get some shots
But when I went outside The shop owner came across the road to me and invited me back in to take the tour Back stage
the first shop in a corporate arcade with security patrols and so on .The second an old established 100+years no fears

Listened yesterday to some report on how town councils are giving town centers over to developers.
This means the developer takes over security duties maintenance
of public footpaths and such like
That's why we have all those Jobsworths with stupid hats and radios chatting to the control room guy who is watching his CCTV

Evening all

Went AWOL yesterday as my neighbour called in with a bottle to tell us she'd just got a job with the Chicago Art Gallery and wanted to celebrate.
Haven't a clue what it really means but it sounds pretty impressive to me and she's a very pleasant woman and so it was a very enjoyable evening.
A quiet day today and it's just now started raining. For once I am quite pleased. I threw some grass seed around the bald spots in the grass at the back and am happy not to go out and do some watering.
Coming up to our anniversary. Do we all raise a glass at the same time or something?
