Hello
I dont know about everyone but I think it would be interestiog to add an advancement bar on the website main page. I would like to know what percentage is done on every project. Having it Live or not won't change anything I think because it probably doesn't increase very fast. Thanks Alex |

No can do.
There is no end in sight. Unlike some other projects, World Community Grid is constantly getting more work to do. There are plans for more detailed status updates at the project level, but it is impossible at the global World Community Grid level. |

Hello Gratmoutt,
I will add my two cents worth. The project scientists constantly add more work units as they try different experiments. Sometimes they stop a particular experiment because it is obviously not working out. That is what 'research' is all about, but it means that we cannot give 'per cent completed' figures. You can see how many results, points and hours have been run by selecting Statistics - By Projects - (project). It is a GREAT idea, but it does not match up to the way that science is done. Too bad. ok
I did not think that new parts were constantly added. I thought that the number of part was decided by the project complexity but I wasnt aware that it grows constantly. thank you Gratmoutt |
