My UD agent has been in paused mode since yesterday 17:32 when it returned its last HPF2 WU.
----------------------------------------After selecting FAAH too it received work so it seems the server itself is doing well and it is a shortage specific to HPF2. Cheers. Jean. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by JmBoullier at Jan 13, 2008 12:03:25 PM] |

Thanks for alerting us. Got a headless crawler doing the folding jobs only. Profile change and a remote log in to nudge it got it an aids job.
Think it's time to move that one to BOINC if it will for easy monitoring. The 1ghz, 512 mb ram should be enough, but was holding back as perceiving there are problems with W98 and this client. |

Has this problem been confirmed and hopefully fixed?
----------------------------------------From the number of completed WUs (much lower than usual) reported for yesterday for HPF2 I am a little doubtful. Since the typical profile for UD users still in activity is probably people not frequenting fora very often one should not wait for reading many problem reports before checking. My low profile UD agent still has many hours to spend on its FAAH WU before I can check. Cheers. Jean. |

Still not fixed, eh? Mine's been paused since 2:10 am CST (almost 7 hours at the time of this post).

It wasn't mentioned in our last update.
----------------------------------------Wait a moment, and I'll dig out the projected end time for HPF/UD. edit: I've asked the techs to comment. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 12, 2008 4:26:36 PM] |

Greetings,
We are currently out of work for HPF2 on UD. We will not have new work until after the database back up as we usually do not add new work into the grid before the backup just in case adding work takes too long. There is still work for HPF2 on BOINC and we have work queued up to build for UD also. Thank you for you patience. -Uplinger |

We take it then that it will be after Sunday's backup event on or around 10:00 UTC that you will start loading new HPF2 work for the UD agent. Pity it was not picked up when Jean first reported this on Thursday.

We were able to check the new work from HPF2 and it took less time than normal to check and the script to load up some work is in the process of running. It will take less than 30 minutes to run hopefully. Sorry for running out of work on HPF2 for UD. Thank you for your patience.

I confirm that my UD agent has started a new HPF2 WU around 2:45 UTC last night.

JmBoullier,
Are the folding jobs processing completely or pausing after a few minutes and downloading a new job including the software like 10mb? One after the other fails about 4 minutes into the job. Switching back to aids works fine. Their download is about 36k. thanks |
