i dont have this problem with any of my 4 PC's, but my mac goes slower with Boinc.
it lagged pretty much, when boinc was on, and when I put it on snooze, the lagg stopped immedietly. Is this normal for mac? Also i would like to see the cpu% and Ram usage etc, that u can see when u press cntrl-alt-del on windows. whats the equivalent on mac? does anyone know how i can solve this problem? |

I'm not a Mac user, but I think there's something called activity monitor. Don't quote me on it though. And because OS X is *nix under the hood, you could start up the terminal and give the command top. That will be the equivalent to Task Manager in Windows.

activity monitor should be in the Utilities section of the applications folder, also if you are running boinc with boinc manager open try shutting the manager (you should still be able to open it from the top taskbar now and then to check progress). Boinc manager seems to bleed ram from your system witch will slow it down a lot. When I was running boinc with the manager open the projects themselves were using a touch over 100mb ram, Boinc manager was using 400+ more. Since running with Manager closed I have no performance problems
