Scheduler request failed: problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

Hello,

after a disk failure (and a partial restore) I was unable to restart my world community grid client.

I tried to unsubscribe and then subscribe again. But a reference must be corrupted somewhere I always get :

I don't want to trash my whole BOING folder since Seti @ Home and Einstein @ Home run fine sad

Any clues ?

P.S: By the way for OS X users the file must be put under /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/ca-bundle.crt (absolute pathname are relative to boot disk).

Excuse me for smiling. The suggestion just proofs it does not matter how many FAQ's are stuck into the 'Start Here' faq forum, members are seemingly unable to locate them. Maybe add a 'Start Here - FAQ' forum button up top to highlight this information resource. wink

The top level FAQ contains an area

it is more visible, and it is easier to search (versus the forum FAQ).

But it must be handled by different person / organisation so you can't update it I guess.
