My statistics show that I have returned 38 results, however the results status show only 28. I'm sure I had done several DDDT work units in the past week which I cannot see in the results page.
Any idea what happened to them? I do distinctly remember running DDDT WUs..Surprisingly I can't see any mention of DDDT in the messages log either! |

According to a message by a Community Advisor in another thread you posted in and the Start Here forum FAQ on Result Status information, the retention is till 4 days after completion of quorum. They are removed afterwards which has surely to do with keeping the database compact to maintain performance for the enquiry screens.

Hello tansinha,
Surprisingly I can't see any mention of DDDT in the messages log either! MD-Crusher is correct. The Results Status page only shows recent results. It shows all that still have pending status. Once they are assigned their final status (hopefully Valid) they are retained for another 4 days, then dropped from the web page. Your BOINC Message Log is kept in 2 places. One is a temporary list that shows all messages since BOINC started running. The other is stdoutdae.txt, which shows all your messages. Eventually it gets so big that it is renamed stdoutdae.old and a new stdoutdae.txt file is started. There is no permanent listing that shows how many results you have returned broken down by project, though your statistics does keep track of total results, points and hours. Lawrence |
