I will be stopping the use of an old computer that has been running BOINC for quite a while. How do I tell BOINC not to accept any new work so that I can let the existing work finish and then I will permanently shut down the PC.

How do I tell BOINC not to accept any new work so that I can let the existing work finish and then I will permanently shut down the PC. In the Advanced View of BOINC, click on the "Projects" tab, select WCG and then click on "No New Tasks". When the work in progress completes, you can shut it down. ![]() ![]() |
