James and Jane of team Top Cats were at Find-a-Drug and found a new home at Folding@Home. I put a PS3 to work folding with the Top Cats a few weeks ago.
----------------------------------------As many of you know, my wife, Johnnie, died 11 October of heart failure. Kind words from my online friends made it easier. I am deeply saddened to report the death of one of our dedicated crunchers, JaneH, wife of James. They founded team Top Cats and have been wonderful friends, especially in the weeks following Johnnie's death. Jane died three days ago on 11 December after a 9 year battle with liver cancer. As James said, "She beat it back again and again against all odds and led a good life until the very end. She continued to be active and traveled and biked/hiked, etc. when all thought it not possible." Jane and James Hinkel had been married 45 years. |

Saw that JaneH had been ill in a thread elsewhere a while back. When death follows, one is always stumped for words. Good to read she kept going to the very last and would not allow for the C to knock her on the head that easy.

I know James from Top Cats over at F@H - a nicer bloke you could not meet. This is very sad, and I offer my sincere condolences to James and his family at this time |
