I would suggest a notice to our eMail accts.,both Before and After an outage. Outages use to cost major MONEY to 'Computing', but here, it means Major Nerd-Panic' - Check Your ''CAUSE.HTML'' I'm not [ myself]' really that agitated but , thought you needed feedback from 12/9 OUTAGE' [wife screaming'What's wrong NOW withe my LapTop... I only upgraded to IE7 and now the WHOLE WorldWidWeb is gone, whut else can go wrong''!! cool

1. I dont' want any e-mails that do not affect me thankyou very much.
2. If you had listened before and switched to Boinc like me, then there would have not been a problem for you!

Re: <resisted Tearing My Machinez Apart due to your Down-Time

Hi UNiRAC.

As usual with outages, a message was posted in advance to the "Known Issues" forum.

However, we have been recommending for months now that members migrate to the new BOINC client. UD support will be going away very soon. The BOINC system was working perfectly all the way through the UD planned outage. If you look at the statistics, you will see just how few UD clients are remaining.

"The Google Compute clients also had certain limits: they could only run the TINKER core and had limited naming and team options. Folding@home is no longer supported on Google Toolbar, and even the old Google Toolbar client will not work.[16]"
