I downloaded the latest boinc install, boinc_5.10.21_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh and did this:
chmod 700 boinc_5.10.21_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh ./boinc_5.10.21_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh Then I got the errors: tar: Skipping to next header gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors What should I do/ |

Is it possible the file didn't download correctly? Check the file size.

The 5.10.21 copy on my disk is 5mb
