very strange .. i have boinc also running on my gateway, and it works there ...
when i traced the client, it seemd to bind on loopback interface .. but i can see the traffic.. but its encryped, so i cannot replay.. is there a possibility to switch of encryption ? |

You seem pretty competent... so, here's how to turn on the BOINC debug messages: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ClientMessages
WCG requires encrypted server communication. You can't disable it. So, see what you can find out, and get back to us. |

Have you used BOINC before, with other projects?
Internal server errors can be caused by invalid stuff in your preferences. Please will you post the contents of global_prefs.xml |

yes i have, but i paused for alomst 3/4 of a year, and started again today.
as i said, i have 2 servers.. one gateway with direct internet acces and one box behind plain NAT. i also use ipv6 internal in coexistence with ipv4. the gateway didn't make any problems, but the internal box makes trouble. the global_prefs.xml was nonexistant, but also a copy identical to the working version (same client version) didn't change anything. but i found some files, with the entire log of the http-request ... ( sched_reply_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml & sched_request_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml ) it asks me to mail support@worldcommunitygrid.org .. i'll do that :) Thank you for your help :) |

I installed yesterday morning and I'm having the same "internal server error" problem. Sounds like this guy may be having the same problem too.
My climateprediction.net project is working fine. |
