Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Hey everyone!

It's been a couple of months since I last posted--and I'm excited to share that we've gained 7 new members, crossed 250 all time members, along with surpassing 1,567 years of cancer research processing time! My dad is still "stable and boring," and the start of high school has been an exciting journey.

Thank you so much to everyone who has stuck with the team, and wishing everyone here a (belated) happy new year!

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Hello everyone!

Hope you all are doing well. Sorry for not sharing an update for a while—high school has been quite busy, but now it's finally cooling down!

My dad is still "stable and boring" thankfully. Recently, I have also been collecting old office computers to make a "supercomputer" to use for World Community Grid. Also thank you so much Eugene for stopping by the team—you gave a much appreciated boost in crunching! cool

Right now, we are currently at 1,633 years, 111 days, and 6 hours of cancer research processing time. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed! biggrin Also if you are currently looking for a team, please considering joining Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Hello everyone!

Glad to see that World Community Grid is back online again—I'd like to give a big thanks to all of the people who helped fix it! As we pass the five year anniversary since my dad was unexpectedly diagnosed with brain cancer, it made me realize how special the work being done here on World Community Grid truly is. Speaking of which, we are now at 1,651 years, 76 days, and 23 hours of cancer research processing time! Also big thank you to Yavanius for joining! biggrin

Have a happy Easter/Passover/Ramadan!

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Hey everyone,

Today marks the two year anniversary of OldChap's passing. OldChap was a major contributor to both World Community Grid and my team as well. I am forever thankful for his kindness and contributions, and I continue to keep him and his family in my thoughts. OldChap, thank you for everything.
