Ranarama was here, brought a giant piece of smørrebrød
- the potato edition then there was a zump! and now it's gone ... did he eat it himself? If open sandwiches can persuade any of you to become a Base Camper, and assist Sawyer in reaching his goal of 1,000 years by September, I assure you we have plenty, and we happened to write the book Please join Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network and Enjoy |

Hello Base Camp, I hope everyone is doing well.
I have a question About a team capt. changing over to help Sawyer Cancer-fighting Network. Do I have to appoint a new captain for the team? Crunchers4life has 3 members. I do mostly Cancer research. |

Nice to see you, Captain smspell
As far as I remember, one of your team members is your brother. Wouldn't it be the easier solution to hand him the steering wheel? We should be pleased to have you assist working towards Sawyer's 1,000 year goal - and you would be elegible for these two badges ![]() How is your mother's treatments coming along? |

Hello everyone!
I can't believe that we crossed 400 years! That's almost halfway to our goal. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to the team so far.Stay safe! Sawyer P.S Little Mermaid, when we were in Copenhagen, we really enjoyed smørrebrød! In the photo below, I was eating it in the National Museum of Denmark! P.P.S OldChap, I am sorry for the delay in my reply. I hope that you are doing well. We are all sending you good juju (as my mom calls it). My dad's last MRI was deemed "stable and boring." He has scans every eight weeks. ![]() |

Wow, coolmandude545!
As far as I can tell, you chose a roastbeef smørrebrød. How did you like the black bread under it? So you visited the National Museum ![]() Hopefully you got to see the three (in my opinion) most important treasures there: The Egtved Girl in her truly timeless clothing The Golden Horns - well, a recreation - fantastic that meticulous drawings were made before they were stolen and melted ![]() The Sun Chariot which pulls the sun across the sky - how else could it wander from East to West? ![]() I'm happy your Dad makes boring scans - do keep it up! All my best to you and your family, and do take the utmost care in these troubling times as also OldChap is doing. Yes, I still hope our Base Camp crew can reach the 1,000 years. * with the long time core 45 members * our new Base Camper smspell * OldChap's androids working in my name for a week or so * and any other help - temporaries invited Welcome smspell it's so very nice of you to do this. You really had that fixed in a hurry. Your dedication is greatly appreciated ![]() - and now I'll go wash my hands ![]() |

OldChap found I should be dressed properly,so he boosted my numbers of the African Rain. I thought he would when I saw he had a ARP badge. ![]() Now, too bad he didn't get you a beta badge, because you would have a nice block of badges! ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by BladeD at Mar 30, 2020 1:09:25 PM] |

@ BladeD
----------------------------------------Idioms and sayings are the most difficult disciplines when trying your hand on a second language. However, I think I remember that 'one should not look a gift horse in the mouth' and I'm happy for the many gifts I have received. Is there a saying saying: 'One should not look another's gift horse in the mouth'? ![]() ![]() - not to mention a couple of the very old ones ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Mar 30, 2020 9:40:12 AM] |
