----------------------------------------Finally, I changed my mind. As it is almost certain that SNURK passes the course, I joined the SeriousCrunchers for the finish. It's not my participation that will make the difference, but it will always be more. You might make the difference stefada. If I had turned on all my old smartphones one day earlier we could have pushed The International Team into round 2. Thank you for your help. We could use more help. SeriousCrunchers is so close to finishing in the top 10 too. Cheers ![]() ![]() |

NixChix that picture of you is a find – perhaps you would some of the strips of paper cmptr spit out? I’m sure we will all like to see them [;). Here is an exact reproduction of the printed card the computer spit out after I asked it what place SeriousCrunchers would finish: ### ####### Cheers ![]() ![]() |

NixChix, no, that print is veeeery convincing.
Do you have it in curves and graphs, as well BladeD, thank you for switching sides. You have your badge. OldChap, is would be even sweeter if your #11 was right than if NixChix's cmptr's #13. Good Early Morning Base Campers! Let's have a cup of coffee or tea according to your preferences with all the Danishes you can eat from Andersen Bakery - yes, that's Hans Christian Andersen who wrote the story about me celebrated by a Japanese baker worldwide while we wait for the final result of the THOR Challenge Round 2 with fingers crossed for LOKI as well as for THOR - not to mention Freja, Odin, Heimdal, Ydun, Ægir and so on ... ![]() |

---------- I just discovered that when we change teams, it's all the calculations of the day that go to the news! So boys and girls, the points that count have been uploaded by those of you that are on this part of Loki Trek.
----------------------------------------Now we wait for the update to see how close we came. Perhaps we get a surprise but however we performed in this I would like to thank each and every one that took part. My stay with little mermaid is coming to an end quite soon now. She has been a most gracious host putting up with my bad habits. Whether you are for or against such teamwork matters little to me. These are my computers and I pay the bill so I get to choose how they are employed just as you choose to trek. I do think though that this last week or so has put a smile on a few faces Maybe we will do this again sometime OC ![]() |

The final results were posted on the Thor Challenge Round 2 page. SNURK and Friends finished the round in position 8 as predicted by OldChap and the war gaming computer. However, there was a last day surge which moved SeriousCrunchers all the way up to position 11!
----------------------------------------There were several crunchers who joined SeriousCrunchers on the last day (stefada, Crystal Pellet, thepeacemaker7) adding over 4,900 hours to the final tally. This certainly helped propel the team into 11th place. I heard OldChap found some WUs in his couch cushions (a whopping 4,216) and turned them in too. It was so very close. I thought there was a chance that we might get both teams into round 3 and we almost did it. That is a great showing of teamwork from the team that isn't. We did get SNURK and Friends into the top 10. I hope little mermaid is pleased with her campers.I will soon be flying Escher 1 over to SNURK and Friends for round 3. Maybe we can get SNURK and Friends into the top 3? I am fueling up the aeroplane now. I hope to see you there. Cheers ![]() ![]() |
