Re: Project Help Conquer Cancer Paused Nov.16, 2007 !!!!!!!

does this mean that all HCC units that have been computed are worthless?
I would like to know that as well. That was sort of the impression I got after reading.

No news yet.

Keep checking Known Issues, Beta Test Announcements and Member News.

Keep in mind that we are unlikely to hear anything until the turkey scraps are all made into sandwiches.

Re: Project Help Conquer Cancer Paused Nov.16, 2007 !!!!!!!

In order to get this done quickly, minimize lost processor time and to allow members who have returned work to us already to be able to get credit we are doing the following:

1) We are replacing the existing validator for the project with an 'auto-validator'. This will automatically validate as valid results returned.

Why? Projects which cause errors in beta don't give credit. This project's errors for some Linux users don't give credit. Why not be consistent and just dump these ones as error status too?

Because these results aren't errors. The results are valid for the calculations that were performed.
