Would it be possible to extend these stats to reflect the registration date of all new members up to the current day. It would be a good way of seeing how many new members have joined on a particular day, which may reflect advertising, or press releases that encourage people to join the grid.

I thought there was already a request to have a bar chart on the global stats page showing the new member/device counts per day. Otherwise, I've been dumping the daily figures to get an idea of ups and downs.
----------------------------------------As for new member names listed, doubt it will happen. They'd become a recruiting target e.g. If ever, I'm glad there is no PM system, and hope if it gets here, it will have a voluntary opt-in and a filter option together with an option to filter out posts for same. I positively dislike these conspirative/spam/flame PM's. Added: If you must know, and assuming most all join using BOINC, BOINCstats identifies new members for month and week and how many spots they've jumped for the period. With the right sort order you'll be able to catch them at 100 per page.
