Was going to help drive a friend's car in order to take turns at the wheel, but I have the larger gas tank and longer range, so we're taking my car instead. It's a 6 speed manual, which she can't drive, so I get to do ALL the piloting. ![]() |

Have a safe journey, GP!
And, here's a little treat for you and your friend, perhaps...After Atlanta, head WEST about 2 hours to the Unclaimed Baggage Outlet, near The Race Track (which name xxcapes me right now). I had SO much fun there, lot$ of fun, we went in for a duffle bag and could NOT believe the bargains. And, I hate shopping! <end of commercial> Yes, Christine, 'tis I, the Wandering Puffin, the WPuffin from UD (oops!) who went cruising and did not make it past B.C., Mexico. We are leaving, again, next month to be part of the www.Baja-HaHa.com group, sailing to Cabo San Lucas. After a year or so in the Gulf of California we intend to keep going. I will post when I'm able, will d/l WCG and run between internet cafes, etc. We DO have SatPhone but I don't know how all this works together, yet. Hugs, from Bobi, and a big fat SQUEEEEEEEEZY hug to GP, whose wisdom I desire upon her return. |
