thanks for your informative replies - very useful .. I'd like to report GOOD NEWS .. One of my Mac Pro outstanding WUs has gone VALID - ruling out my suspiction that these WUs dont like my Mac ach1_ 1_ 24_ 7-- host name Valid 10/04/2007 20:58:20 10/05/2007 09:16:20 6.97 121.4 / 117.5 I still have 3 TOO LATE and 5 INCONCLUSIVE to go |

Greetings,
It is interesting that one of the Mac work units was completed properly yet the other 5 that are in progress have mis-compares between them. This work unit ach1_1_24 did have mis-compares also but ended up with 10 valid results thus making the work unit complete. We are looking into this and have suspended sending out new work to the Intel Macs. If we figure out a fix or a solution to the problem we will post it in the forums to keep everyone informed. I seem to have just one WU Too Late now - not sure where the other 2 have gone ... 3 Inconclusive as well going back to 10/10 ... checked the others sent these are also Inconclusive |

When the validation was forced manually beyond 4 days ** after it should have happened, the record(s) would vanish. I've once compared the credits of the validated results for the day versus what showed in the My Grid daily total and found that some extra credit/points were added, so presumed things were okay. ** Note that the Result Status page only lists validated results up to 4 days after the scheduled validation!

Thanks for the informative post ..
- the Techs have identified an issue/s and moved on with new WUs .. it would be good to know what has happened to Intel Mac WUs that had an issue - my prompting, hopefully not complaining is that I still dont know what has happened to the WUs that were released, I completed and had issues, ie Too Late when they weren't and Inconclusive .. hoping to move on .. |

The early batches have been rerun AFAIK as there were just too many irregularities.... there are just 82xquorum 10 in a batch, so it's not a huge enterprise to do that.
----------------------------------------As what Lawrence wrote, from the back-room we know that a relaunch of AC@H (on Mac) is imminent. Given we're mid cycle of a batch, it's likely the next one that will again allocate part of the work to the MAC platform. Given there were so few participating and the delays it caused, it wont be much send to OS X clients. We'll tell you or one of the WCG will if something is moving. The points i cant help.... try the comparison as described or send a mail to the support@worldcommunitygrid.org with the work unit names and the device ID. cheers
