I thank you all. The funeral was yesterday and life will not be the same. We shared 43 years. Thanks for the phone calls and flowers. Your support means a lot to me, friends.

Johnnie died of heart failure due to rheumatic fever as a child. She had a mechanical mitral valve and pacemaker for over seven years. The right side of her heart couldn't pump well enough any longer. The photo below was taken only six weeks before her death.
