Hello,
I just joined today with a 64-bit BOINC PC and I got already several WU's that end in errors, message, <core_client_version>5.10.8</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process exited with code 22 (0x16, -234) </message> <stderr_txt> execv: No such file or directory </stderr_txt> ]]> Anyone an idea what I can do to solve this ? Or should I not accept work from this project on a 64-bit Linux PC ? Thanks for any feedback. R. |

Hello digitalnoiz,
A number of people are successfully running 32-bit Linux work units on 64-bit Linux systems. Could you start out by telling us which distro you are using and paste the starting section from your Messages Tab? Lawrence |

I have Ubuntu 7.10 (original Test 3, but update along the way). The version of BOINC used comes with Ubuntu.

Similar in another project,
https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/devi...rLog.do?resultId=38261082 <core_client_version>5.10.8</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process exited with code 22 (0x16, -234) </message> <stderr_txt> execv: No such file or directory </stderr_txt> ]]> I put the WCG on hold for now. Shame. R. |

Interesting to see that we're actually able to see a link to a log of a work unit
----------------------------------------done by someone else that actually works and shows it. Thanks for sharing as some have very long logs which at times we would like to see. As for your error, please see the FAQ discussing yours and others, oogle search using "BOINC process exited with code 22" popped the below up as first hit: http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=...3a6b86cd6fa23c8ea10040b37 http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?langu...143c02d937af7a3fb9fb198aa It may be, by the reading, that your Linux version is slightly 'off' Added: Could you please break up the very long lines in your earlier post. They scroll off the screen.
