The offer translates to $58 per share, which is roughly a 10% premium to Cognos's closing price on Friday. The IBM-Cognos deal is not altogether a surprise considering that the companies have had a partnership for more than 15 years." One would think if they could pony up $15 million, they could spend a few $'s to buy us some decent forum software.   Perhaps IBM should have a couple of car washes and bake sales to by some forum software. Hey Surfer, you could supply the sausage!! |

I think it is probably at my end with the MMS protocol on Vista. It worked fine for me. Vista? Doesn't everything have trouble with Vista? I have a non-grid lap top with Vista and I swear I am going to put a .45 cal round though it one of these days! |

Vista is more useless than a perforated condom. I will never upgrade from XP Pro.

I will never upgrade from XP Pro. That's what I said about Windows 3.11. I've been upgrading ever since. But I will stay with XP until forced into something else. |

Vista is more useless than a perforated condom. I will never upgrade from XP Pro. Now, now. There's no need to go insulting perforated condoms by associating them with the Dark Lord. After all, perforated condoms can be used as a crude filter in an emergency.  |
