I was aware of the limitation but not the workaround...should I be seeing the full 4GB in system information after I modify DEP as shown (opt-out) and reboot?

The switch /PAE has been available on Windows XP for a longer time to get the 4gb visible. The danger is when setting it and not having it. Don't try!

What is the danger? I set it on an old AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (2.2 GHz) running Windows Vista. It certainly shouldn't be a problem on any dual core processors. Have I missed something that I couldn't find with a Google search, Sekerob?
