My points are not realistic

I am in 2486th position in points but I am in 3138 in cpu time and 3628th position in results returned. Points shoud be in between cpu time and results returned. If someoone has computers that are below average in power than they should have more cpu time and less results returned. If one has computers that are above average in power than one should have less cpu time and more results returned. In either case points should be between the two not in front of both. I use boinc and do not use ud at all and this might be the reason my points are so much better than the other two. I am familar with ud software and know that under certain circumstances a computer will get a huge number of results with no cpu time and no points. I have seen volunteers for the now defunct patriot grid have extremely low average points per results and they will be in the top 5000 in results returned but not even close for cpu time and points. That could be the reason why my results return are so much behind my cpu time. The top 50 have 8.35% of the points which is over 750 times their % of members. The member is first place has over 1% by themselve so it is very top heavy in all three categories.

Re: My points are not realistic

Which of the 3 measurements are top/middle/bottom is entirely dependent on the work selection, the work duration, the speed of the computer, the mix of computers and a few more things. Anything can be highest ranking.

If e.g. you have a very fast machine, you will churn out a lot of points. If you chose to only run Genome comparison when that projects ran, it probably would have been top of the 3. Opposed if running the generally longest FA@H, it would surely be lower ranked. Anyway, enjoy your self on theorizing on my mix:

1. Points
2. Results
3. Run time
