Re: What does this message mean?

Hmm. We don't see that one very often at all. In fact, I can't even remember what usually causes it.

What projects do you have selected?

Thing to do is to try again. Let us know if it continues not sending work. Maybe there is a server misconfiguration that needs looking at.

The project selected for this particular computer is AC@H. This is the message I am getting when I have AC@H only selected. When I select to accept other projects when AC@H has no work, it gives me the message:

9/6/2007 3:50:53 PM|World Community Grid|Message from server: No work can be sent for the projects you have selected
9/6/2007 3:50:53 PM|World Community Grid|Message from server: You have selected to receive work from other projects if no work is available for the projects you selected
9/6/2007 3:50:53 PM|World Community Grid|Message from server: Sending work from other projects

Re: What does this message mean?

Then just treat it as a spurious message. AC@H is very likely to have periods with no work available, so keep that in mind.

As for the error message - it may be caused by the still active beta application. But that's just a guess.

Re: What does this message mean?

AC@H was turned off for a bit while we were testing a fix to a bug that was causing errors. We are testing the fix in beta as well as in our test environment to make sure the code works. Usually if there isn't work for a project you will just get no work available. Because the application was turned off you got a message for deprecated applications.

Hope this answers your questions. Also, we expect to have the new code in production later today if testing goes well.

Re: What does this message mean?

Something not understood:

- Changed the Home profile to only get AC@H with the backup option active in case no AC@H is available.
- Attached the Home Profile to the targeted Device
- Reset WCG Project on targeted Device previously attached to Default profile

Result:

- Log shows Device attached to Home Profile. (Okay)
- Log shows no deprecated (switched off) message for AC@H. (Expected from post above by Uplinger)
- Shows no message to say that platform or AC@H project has no work (Was expected, Not okay)
- Sends various jobs from other projects (Okay, implying there is no work for AC@H)

Reverified that project options had saved properly which they did.

thank you so much
