Mine (ach1_1_2_6) has been "pending validation" since Sept 2 until Sept 4, and at this time only one result was waited for. Yesterday (Sept 5) this last result has come back (I presume) and all "pending validation" have become "inconclusive" while 3 new WUs were resent.
----------------------------------------Tonight my Results Status page is still showing it "inconclusive" but the corresponding Workunit Status page no longer shows any WU. Only the summary info at the top and the column header... What next? Cheers. Jean. |

I saw the same thing for ach1_ 1_ 66_ 0--. Result=inconclusive, but if I click the link for the result name, there's nothing there, except: Created: 09/03/2007 13:32:31 Name: ach1_1_66 Minimum Quorum: 10 Initial Replication: 21 It seems that either these are all bad WUs, or there is a validation issue. |

There is obviously some issues with the crunching of this project. Maybe it should be sent back to beta. The tech's need to relook at this project.

Has the version number changed in recent days? It was 5.09. It's THE indicator of something changed and if the Techs/Programmers changed something, the version number is surely incremented.
----------------------------------------In my case, my firewall would pop-up a screen to allow a new version. If there is, please let me know and I'll update the FAQs. Still had not a single one though my line is still rated as 245k by BOINC and still getting random 'alternate work' on the machine designated to do AC@H. thanks

Still had not a single one though my line is still rated as 245k by BOINC and still getting random 'alternate work' on the machine designated to do AC@H. thanks I am still getting random other work as well. Maybe they are just testing a limited number of workunits like they did last time. In a very real sense, this project is still in a beta testing phase although it is not listed as such, which is fine! :) |

Greetings,
The latest version is 5.12. The error work units are getting pushed through with the latest version and are completing properly. Members should start to see inconclusive results turning into valid or invalid. Also, the next batch of work units will probably be out later this week. Remember at most there will be 820 work units running for this project at one time. This is why machines are getting other work when all work is already sent out. -Uplinger |
