Hi !
----------------------------------------Here's a kind of academic question about understanding what the statistics in my boinc-client tell me vs what my statistics on the website tell me. First: there are no units with the y-coordinate in the diagrams. So when I look at "Show user total" I find an ascending line, currently ending at 900. But 900 what? Obviously not "points generates". Same with "show user average". An ascending curve, currently ending at about 70. But 70 what? Certainly does somebody know about this. Let me share in your knowledge. Greetings from Hamburg, Germany. Hi Helmut from Hamburg Germany,
----------------------------------------Here's some explanation in the BOINC manager documentation. It sits towards the end. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ManagerAdvanced The numbers you see in BOINC are multiplied by 7 to arrive at the numbers on the WCG statistics page. Note that whilst what you see in the client updates after each result is returned, the website "My Grid" page statistics only updates every 12 hours (00:06 and 12:06 UTC). cheers
