 I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that time will somehow ease your pain. During his short time with us, Toby managed to touch many hearts, and that is something that not all people manage to do during their lifetime. The news is saddening. It makes all this crunching seem so much more worthwhile that hopefully in the end another child will not have to endure such pain.

----------------------------------------I'm sorry hear about Toby. I hope that the support that you have from everyone here gives you the strength you need. The son of some good friends of mine was born with Myotubular myopathy. I'm not sure how this relates to SMA, but the symptoms were similar in that his muscles didn't develop and he only lived for a few weeks. However, I know that for the short time that he was here that he brought them so much joy and touched the hearts of so many people that really made everyone appreciate the time that they had with him. I also know that however much you expect the inevitable to happen, it doesn't make the grief and loss any easier. My thoughts are with you and your family. |
