We have just now started a beta test for the next project. This beta test involves large files 77MB (after compression) downloads and 13 MB (after compression) uploads. This beta test is for Linux only, requires BOINC version 5.8 or higher and requires a min of 85000 bytes/second measured download (this is 756kbps rounded down). You can compare this value of 85000 against the value of <bwdown> inside of <net_stats> inside of the client_state.xml file. If you have 85000 or higher then you should qualify for this beta work.
