How are You (ab)Using Your Mouse?

No research quotations, just tell us what are you using and why: Wireless, left hand, right hand, keyboard integrated mousepad, the ibm tip, classic movable or roller ball, ergonomically shaped, dockable for nightly accumulator recharge.

Presently my main is the monster roller ball, never needing cleaning (but i do anyway), plus saving my hurting shoulder not being forced to make micromovements with a very large joint, on the other hand, so i can read and write, with pen. I'm sure in a while i'll abandon that as the thumb will start suffering from blackberritis. I use mouse gestures add on for firefox (available for IE too) for enhanced navigation.

biggrin

Re: How are You (ab)Using Your Mouse?

I have a first-generation Logitech cordless desktop. It has served me well for many years, even if it does eat batteries (well, the mouse, anyway - the keyboard goes for years on a single set). Mouse is right handed optical.

Wireless
Laser
Right-handed
Four buttons, tilt-wheel
(Logitech MX3000 keyboard/mouse, rechargeable batteries)

I use it because it is smooth and responsive.

Re: How are You (ab)Using Your Mouse?

Wired
rollerball
righthanded
with wheel scroll

Makes for interesting times when my cats are frisky and want to play with the cord. I must do battle of the tug-o-war biggrin Sometimes I come home to find the mouse behind the computer on the floor.

And then there's always the paw trying to get the arrow on the screen--I shouldn't really tease them like that, but it is funny LOL

peace
