confused New people to join a team

Are we really going to find new people to join on this forum or will it be more like people just change teams?

Where does your team find most new people?

Our website is alot of DIY type things so more real world people who arn't at the PC as often as other computer related sites, so we are not having the best of luck recruiting users from our site thus far.

Re: New people to join a team

Walter, I suspect anyone's best bet for getting new team members is outside WCG - getting folks to join WCG and their team. WCG is oriented towards a load and forget approach. Joining a team does nothing for you in terms of your points or how the agents crunch. Not that there aren't benefits from joining a team, just none that directly affect your crunching performance (aside maybe from some problem help). In fact, if you don't have any problems running WCG, you don't have any incentive to go to the forums. Some folks are curious, others are familiar with forums but the vast majority of folks crunching for WCG never come to the forums and even fewer get active in them. Still, there are folks who have been known to read a team's thread and join that team.
