Setting up Preferences

Hi Folks,

I have set up the BOINC preferences so that BOINC comes into operation after 15 minutes idle time. In actual fact, BOINC does not wait until a 15 minute period has elapsed but seems to be operational all the time. In saying this, I assume that BOINC considers idle time to be when there is no mouse or keyboard activity. Could anyone shed some light on this, please?

There is a bug related to this behaviour.

To work around the bug, you need to set your preferences online, here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/v...iguration.do?name=Default and clear the local preferences.

Please ask again if you need more detailed instructions.
