I recently did an XP rollback (system restore).
Anyhow - I cancelled the three pending WU's and (naturally) got three errors on my WU's at WCG. Would these "system restore" have errored the WU's regardless - due to exceeding the reporting date? What recommendations do you have regarding System Restore, or disk imaging in general, regarding the client, projects and WU's? |

Try to exclude BOINC from the image/restore if possible and BOINC is not the problem you are trying to fix.
If that is not possible most of the tasks will error out or be duplicate work and wasted. It is up to you if you want to reset the projects, find out which tasks are still viable, or let it run. |
