Hi everybody,
----------------------------------------My computers are crunching since end of January and I've experienced today (since over 10 hours) the following (and surprising) message: World Community Grid|Message from server: No work could be sent. World Community Grid|Message from server: (reached daily quota of 10 results) Which quota ? Why only 10 results ? (I already sent back over 20 results per day) What would happen with multi-core systems which can crunch daily much more than my current systems ? I already searched in the forum for some information about this issue without having found something related (or I was too stupid to find it). Can somebody give some explanation about this message and what it means? In advance, I thank you ! (in order to not bore my computers, I registered now "PrimeGrid" additionally to WCG). |

Hi KerSamson,
----------------------------------------Can you please visit the Result Status page to see if your results are okay. If your machine is producing lots of errors or invalids, you are automatically put on a limited number of jobs allowed until the problem is removed. Does the message screen of BOINC list any problems? ttyl

I've just discovered that something went wrong on one system which reported over 45 errors within few hours !
----------------------------------------Probably a boinc agent crash or a windows fatal error ! ... I run currently boinc agent version 5.10.13 on W2K Pro (P4 HT) for the HPF2 ! |

Hello KerSamson,
If you correct the problem on that machine, then let it run, the limit on number of work units it can run a day will slowly increase as it starts returning valid results. This all happens automatically. Lawrence |

What would happen with multi-core systems which can crunch daily much more than my current systems ? Hello Yves! Just to answer your question while your quota is hopefully coming back to normal: the daily quota applies on a "per core" basis. Good luck for soon becoming the fifth millionaire of the team. Jean. |
