Stats are great
----------------------------------------This morning it shows us less that 18 hours away from a century a day. On account of the half daily update. I think in around 3 hours time we will be over the other side in triple digits for good  cargod01 you are right stats like this really make you appreciate every one elses contribution to this great project  |

It is the result of the small "Daily Average bug" of the night stats. The number of days taken for the computation is the actual number of different days since starting. And since the stats are running a few minutes after 0:00:00 UTC it is actually one more day than what the totals represent. For "old" members or even more for the global WCG stats it is not much visible, but for a new member it is very strange. Take a new member who would get 900 points during his first day in WCG. After the night stats run his personal stats will show 900 points (right) and a daily average of 450 points (weird).
----------------------------------------I don't know if fixing it would be trivial or not. And if that member had joined one day earlier but very late his average would be 300 points. But this one is certainly more difficult to take into account. Cheers. Jean. |
