Keith, it's me, Silver Surfer. I've got myself a little team running now under the name of Silver Surfers (GB) but am using only the UD agent on my PCs for that team at the moment, BOINC is still running for MOT. Just keeping you in the picture mate. peace

Keith, does it take a while for Cosmology@Home WUs to start showing actual progress under the progress column? It's been running for a while on 1 of my PCs with no visible progress having been made, and my PC seems to have slowed considerably. confused

I guess this answers my question....

This issue is known.

Cosmo @ Home is still in alpha stage and the Progress Bar is not yet implemented, neither does the app have a graphic working.

Just switched to the new boinc 5.10.20. Seems to be running ok. I have the queue set to 1.5 days so I have 3 WU's standing at the ready. Now I dont know if it is the new boinc or harder WU's but the Dengue thing seems to be slower now. Just noticed it so I was curious if other see this as well. Mine went from a little over 6 hours to 10 hours to complete.

I've not seen upgrading BOINC level change the length of time WU's take. I have seen that change though when a new group of WU's hits. On my slow machine (1.5 GHz Pentium M), all my WU's have to completion times between 9 and 10 hours. FAAH is the shortest, then Dengue and finally HPF2. The real question is are you seeing DDDT WU's actually take 10 hours on your machine or are you seeing to completion times of 10 hours. BOINC has adjustment factors to the expected times that come with the WU. If those are off on your machine, they will correct with time normally.
