Perhaps that's "the most unique or strangest hobby"....A collector of young attractive girls. I keep them drugged up in a cave out in the backwoods of Georgia. No wait, that was the movie "Kiss the Girls".
Actually, my latest hobby for the past couple of months has been looking for a job. Not the funnest hobby that's for sure! In the IT world it's difficult to find gainful employment in many circumstances, as many here know all too well. I'm steadily trying to make "Luck" happen by pursuing all avenues of possibilities. Perhaps I should just start a life of crime? Maybe I'll start a new thread on what's the best criminal lifestyle to pursue with a risk assessment built into the argument. I'll be seeing "Oceans 12" with my 19yr Ukraine gf later this evening, so maybe I can get some good pointers.....from one or the other. |

Fantastic Idea for a thread Graham! If it's strange or unique I'm in. I collect plastic Confetti . Yup the stuff we toss at celebrations. And as for you Billy Bob, here is a good one for you... http://ttr.blindeyed.com/ She collects confetti and even has a countdown timer on her webpage so that you know the exact moment she turns 18! Not to worry though, the age of consent is 16 in Florida (unless you're older than 23! then it would be a felony!). [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 21, 2005 8:24:15 PM] |

For $50, before and after photos! For $500, a weekend for two at my home including meals and use of the beach! For $2000, a one week stay, all meals, use of the beach, boat ramp access, campfires in the evenings and fireworks!!!! Don't delay! Send in your contribution now! Home fixer-upper, Ripcat |

----------------------------------------You wouldn't happen to be a retired President of my country, would you? Of course not -- rooms at the Whitehouse go for a lot more than you are asking. ![]() I also note that you didn't include all the beer you can drink in your offers. That is a really good idea. From reading a few of the other posts here and in other threads, you could go broke offering that -- LOL. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 22, 2005 2:46:21 AM] |

This sums up what I do everyday (IE: My hobby):
Day #1: The afternoon today was exceedingly boring. I particularly found it especially boring because I had earlier completed a game I had been playing to alleviate boredom. To reduce boredom in the morning, I played the game, and that made my afternoon boring to the point of pointlessness. So I played another game in the afternoon, which helped distract me from boredom. Well, now I'm bored again, and I'm out of good games because I played them when was earlier bored. So I should play the game again to alleviate boredom, but make gameplay more boring because I had played it so many times. And once I am done with the game, life immediately after said game was more boring in comparison. In short, I was playing games to alleviate boredom that was caused by playing games. Day #2: Today saw boredom running around in circles. I have nothing to do. So I'll just stay put and stone until I think of something more productive to do, such as thinking of something more productive to do. Okay, okay. As hobbies, I 1) Work (or basically do nothing productive) at computers 2) Work on robotics (more seldom than I'd like) 3) Read, read, and read more (today, I read 2 old national geographic magazines, a brochure, and "Chaotic thoughts from the old millenium" by Sim Wong Hoo, aka founder of Creative) 4) Stone OR daydream OR postulatesomestupidandnefarousandimpossiblegroundbreakingtheorytoendalltheories 5) Be myself. Don't stop. I think the most unique hobby is the last one. After all, who can be me besides me? ![]() |

Interest (or how much interest one has in another, "one" as in general archetypal of acquinted opinion, and thus vice versa, or degree of how "boring") is arbitrary.
When you're bored, you tend to think things like that. (Which equates to the profession of law being one that tends, but not absolutely stages itself, towards boredom.) Now, I'll have a game of unreal tournament, if you'll excuse me. (New maps to make the game more fun have rolled in.) |

Booger flicking, especially the really sticky ones just to see if it will stick to the person close to you without them noticing. And if you believe this I have this beach front property in the middle of the Gobi that is for sale. I wish I had a camera when you first read the line above it would have been worth its weight in gold! How much is the beach property? ![]() ![]() myonlineteam.org/i |
