They were involved with grid.org - which they are still promoting, months after their demise.
Hence the frustration. |

ok, i see.
and what about the malaria people? "We have received proteins from our collaborators in Seattle working on pregnancy malaria. These proteins are proteins that Patrick Duffy's lab has identified as possibly important in this particularly bad type of malaria (Plasmodium). Paul Shannon is one of the Bioinformatics scientists working with us on this project, he's looked for proteins that are: 1. The right size or have pieces/ domains the right size for Rosetta 2. Are unregulated/over-expressed during the type of malaria they study in Duffy's lab and 3. Not easy to annotate with other methods (unknown proteins). For more info on this lab's overall effort follow this link (where the need to look at these proteins was brought to our attention see: http://www.sbri.org/research/duffy.asp |

Morning All
----------------------------------------Thanks for all your input Yep as a mere mortal all I can do is remain a thorn in the side I'm not going anywhere I think it's worth it the potential is life saving/changing If there are other potential projects being overlooked I'm happy to keep on bumping this up until someone who can make a difference picks up the phone. btw any news on that uncopyrighted WCG Logo we all can use All this needs is a conference call between the 3 parties, one of which is a major enabler in IT so I'm sure they might have such a device In next months news letter there could be a link to http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org - Think what a difference that will make Dave ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Jul 13, 2007 11:55:19 AM] |

Don't normally eat it that much but the continuing drought makes thirsty. 27 cent per kg, paid 4 Euro (5.55 Dollars these days), for a 15kg monster (33 pounds or so). In the cool-box with foil.
----------------------------------------Added: If the NFCR would show www.WCGrid.org it would be outstanding :D

Nothing like cold watermelon on hot summer day. Price here is $5.99 (about 4.25 euro) per melon no matter the size, both seeded and seedless. Slice and enjoy.
