Re: applause Christians are giving... come give with us!

A re-post from my church forum:

Team Here is a letter a good friend wrote to his son in Iraq, feel free to use and send this to anyone you you feel it may help.

Hey……..Guess What……..

You're the BEST!!!! I just really wanted to tell you how much you mean to me. I really don't know how to say everything you mean to me other than as I said.......

"You're the Best".

I pray that you will continue to seek the Lord in your life as he desires to be not only like a father but he also wants to be your friend.
I know you stay busy and have a rather hectic life, but do try to take the time to seek his will in your life as he will bless you more than you could ever imagine.

I have been reading a book about Blessings and Curses and the Lord has really pressed upon my heart how important it is that we Bless one another.

ALWAYS speak in a positive way, and NEVER, but NEVER, speak negatively about ourselves or anyone else. [EX: I'm a waste of a human being. You'll never amount to anything. I hope you die.] We can curse not only our own lives, but we can also put a curse on someone else's life by the words that we speak. And the scary thing is, what we say can be a blessing or a curse that will be passed down for generations.

There are numerous examples in the bible of different people who either blessed people or cursed people by what they said. Jesus cursed a Fig tree and it never grew fruit again. God desires to bless us and he also wants us to bless others.

We have an awesome ability to bless people not only today, but for generations to come. God can use us to bless people that might never receive a blessing because of what someone else might of said to them, or about them years ago. We need to release, repent and ask for forgiveness for any possible curses we have said to others or curses that have been put upon us.

[Lord I release, repent and ask for your forgiveness for anything I have ever said to or about someone else that was or could be a curse upon their life. Lord I ask that you will lift up and bless those that I have possibly cursed and bless them so they can be a blessing to you, to others and those people you bring into their life.]

You are an example of someone that God will use to bless others for years to come. Some day you will be talking to someone; maybe an old friend, a brother or sister, your spouse, telling funny stories, remembering vacations, times you spent together, etc. These stories will be the blessings that you will remember and these same stories will be the blessings that God will use to pass on for generations to come.

Always try to remember that every day, God can use you to bless someone. And that blessing can last for years to come and might even touch another generation.

"Lord I ask that you will use me to bless everyone you bring into my life. Lord I also ask that you will give me a heart that will seek your will in my life and a desire to walk out your will in my life. Thank you Lord for loving me. Thank you Lord for putting your love in my heart and the desire to be a blessing to others. Lord I ask that you will release any thing I have ever said or done that would hold back your blessings in someone else's life and I ask that you will bless them and use them to bless others for generations to come.....Amen"

"May the Lord use you to bless someone today".................

Blessings:
1 Peter 3 vs 8-12
John 13 vs 17
John 20 vs 29

Curses:
Ecc 7 vs 22
Malaci 2 vs 2
Gal 3 vs 13

May you walk in the blessing of God
