Dear Sekerob

You might want to watch those stats closely over the next couple of days some serious milestones loom large (and not just the DPC's wink)

The one I'm really looking forward to is an average of a century a day for every day since the 16th November 2004 it will just take a little more patience than those others but we will get there soon enough.

Dave

Re: Dear Sekerob

I'm sure Dear Dave Autumns is watching it from Glasgow:

July 10, 2007, 12:00 UTC

Averages Run Time Per Calendar Day (y:d:h:m:s) 98:057:21:28:59

Have you found a WIFI hotspot already on the train with a 12 volt socket.... there's adapters for the car that convert to 220 or 240 whatever you Brits have these days.

10 days, 9 hours for the moment of truth :D

Dear Sek

Wifi on the Pendelino non existent I tried one of their 240V 3Pin sockets no luck sad It wouldn't let me plug in. BOINC only crunches for an hour without the mains but you know me if there's an hour to be crunched I crunch it

Wifi in Glasgow B&B's though and Mains biggrin

10 days 9 hours these predictions of yours are accurate. Is that for the Century a day average?

Sincerely

Dave

Re: Dear Sekerob

Dear Dave,

No the 10:09 was another significant number, an event talked about in your team thread. It's now 8:14:26 + 6 minutes delay factor for the moment of truth and a day or so for dust to settle.....

Think the 100:00 per day for WCG is still a continental holiday away.

Run Time Per Calendar Day (y:d:h:m:s) 98:115:07:07:59 (Jul 12 24:00)

That average seems to improve by about 20 days per day of crunching, at present pace.

For a classic prediction, our most national of national holidays in the most national of national holiday weeks: Ferragosta, August 15. It has been for a very very long time.

ciao

Re: Dear Sekerob

Now this a challenging thought.... Depending on the time reckoning we are already *past* the 100 CPU Years average alien 2

  • From the Official Launch Date, Nov.16, 2004 it happened on or before May 24, 2007 when we reached an average of about 36520 CPU days per day (ignoring the hours and minute fractions).

  • Taking it from when the stats started, Sep.20, 2004 it will be closer to August 5 hitting this big mark.

Sorry, but did not think of setting up the plot till now.... i hate missing reasons to party crying

Edit: Corrected spelling 2x and date per post below as Jean does pointed out slips of pens into the future. I'll try for a 4th edit too... yes and i mis-managed laughing
Added (edit 5): The graph in the most color blind mix my neighbour's dog adaptly chose laughing

Re: Dear Sekerob

Think the many numbers made your head spinnin' Diana G.... that was the 100,000 CPU years.... 100th millennium wink

The running average per day is 99:150:07:53:44.... closing in and is there a treasure to be found at your daughter birthday ;? Running current average would make it August 2 or 3 now peace
