The Blink security application from www.eeye.com caused WCG to pause. The solution was to exclude all WCG processes from Blink's application protection (not to be confused with the Application Firewall).
I edited the text file apiex.ini located at "C:\Program Files\eEye Digital Security\Blink\Config\apiex.ini" to exclude all WCG processes. I added this line to the rule section of apiex.ini: C:\Program Files\WorldCommunityGrid\*;kevlar;0 Now, WCG works properly. I also added all .exe files in C:\Program Files\WorldCommunityGrid as trusted programs in the Application Firewall and 129.33.89.134 as a trusted ip address. I'm using Windows XP SP2. |
