Normally my Cross-Project-ID is 305758009a1e119fcd65b5f150fead59
But here it's 6fdc29a86ea4b77e3b7805fadf148e32. Hot to change? |

Your CPID synchronises automatically, so long at you used the same email address. It may take a few days to synchronise, and it will change each time you attach to a new project.

Hi Dr.Paua,
----------------------------------------Many times discussed on these fora. Make sure your client is attached to at least 2 active projects which you want to have the same CPID for. Than, change the email address in your profile to the same, which preferably should have been entered on all projects with lower case (but at least identical upper/lower case). It should than take around 48 hours to synchronize. The member name has no relevance in the BOINC stats roll-ups associated to the CPID. Sekerob Edit: looks like a double up

Thank you both, it changed now. But how can I manage WCG with BOINCstats.com?
I take part in Climate Prediction, LHC@Home, Nano-Hive@Home, Proteins@home, Rosetta@Home, SETI@Home, XtremLab and World Community Grid. When I want to change the resources, all projects respond "Success" but WCG respond "No response from project"...  |

WCG is for BAM/AMS and the like 'read only'. Until BAM passes the security requirements of IBM it's not likely to happen is my guesstimaton. Until than use the website or wait till 5.10 where u can manage the client thru local prefs.... or use BOINCview to do mass client change at a very detailed level.

I get the same thing mate, but points etc still seem to go where they are supposed to go. I agree that the 'no response' message from WCG is a nuisance, but it seems to make no difference. Now, if only BOINCSynergy, BOINCstats, Mundayweb etc could manage to update the user and team stats regularly..........
