I wanted to link my WCG to my Boinc projects by changing my name to the name i use for Boinc but when i try to change it in my profile it says that it's already taken,by me of course.Yes i know i messed up by not doing it in the first place but at that time i didn't even know they were both related.I'm gonna try to change my email for this name then try to register as a new user with the name i want using the email i use for all my boinc projects.

I'm not quite sure I follow.
Anyway, here's how it works: usernames at WCG must be unique. Your username is used for the UD agent, the website and for BOINC. At other BOINC projects, you can have a completely different username - they are completely unrelated. Some BOINC projects don't require that usernames are unique, so it is easier to get a common name. So long as you used the same email address at each BOINC project (and at WCG) the stats sites will be able to group all your usernames and calculate your total score. I hope that clarifies things a little. |

Thanks for the help.I am using the same email for all my projects but for some reason i am not able to link this project to all my others.I am using Boinc Synergy and all my projects show up except this one.I also noticed that all my Boinc projects have the same cross project number but this project's number is completely different.How can i link them all?
