I'm using Windows Vista and every time I'm restarting my notebook the Boinc program says to WCG that the Result has an Error (under Resault Status).
And after starting my notebook boinc needs two new WU's from WCG. I read something about in another thread, that Vista is to quick for Boinc to stop the WU's without an error. I also read that in version 5.9.12 the problem will be fixed. But 5.9.12 is an Alpha version or an Beta version and nothing for a new Notebook an Vista ... Is there any other chance to fix the problem? |

Yes, Vista shuts down very quickly and could cause the error. Unless someone can point you to a better solution, I'd recommend just exiting the BOINC manager before shutting your laptop down.

Yes, thats one solution. I forgot it two times, an I have core 2 processor. That's the reason why I have 4 Errors results in under Result Status.
That's it why I want to know: Is there another solution? But thanks for help ;). |
