Re: windows vista problems

Hi immiX.joske,

The best place to post is the Support section specific to the client... either UD Windows Agent Support or BOINC Agent Support . If you got to this forum thru the Index, you can read the base function for each of the fora. If there is a problem related to a specific project, post in the Active Research forum of each Science that WCG runs

Now that you're here, walk thru to the Start Here forum for first line - Read Only - support information covering many past FAQ's. There you will find a specific post related to problems for those running Vista aka ME II. Vista: How to get WCG (UD) Agent & BOINC running. Your issue has several solutions, but by the sounds is re-installing, point 1 the quickest and most certain fix.

ciao

PS, the HELP button right hand top is an area for many general questions a member has. The Search function next to the help button allows to find posts and answers to many problems members had in the past. Browse around and familiarize yourself.... there's lots of 'nice to know' and 'useful' information.
