Who's watching the Indy 500?

Pull up a chair and join us. We don't go any more.

But we never missed one when we were younger.
Wherever we lived.
Well there was a time when the accidents really got to me.
Like when the Pace car drove into the Journalist and Photographer's stand.

Joe and I had left to go to the car for something and we started seeing several helicopters coming over and landing and taking off for Methodist Hospital,
but nothing was ever announced and I just sat with my heart in my mouth wondering what awful thing had happened that we weren't being told about.

Then after another bloody one or two I asked Joe to go by himself for a few years.

So now it's the pretty picture on the flat screen.
Pull up a chair.
Lotsa room.

Re: Who's watching the Indy 500?

I'll be at the track today biggrin
Hopefully no serious crashes and hopefully the race will actually be run today. The forecast for today is wave after wave of thunderstorm so it could be a long day hanging out at the track

And on a separate note - this thread belongs in the chat forum and not the team forum so I have moved it.
