You may be lucky Diana but Kimi will be lucky to get through. Massa may still have a chance for Ferrari but it looks like McLaren's party as long as they don't take each other out.

the more I think about it, the more I think it is probably the most boring race of the season. The result is usual decided on Friday because overtaking is so rare and so the Alonso, Hamilton, Massa followed the usual pattern. Only accidents or the rare stroke of genius changes this. Kimi was unable to move up the field apart from jumping Button at the start which is some difference from Shumi's effort last year when he tore through the back markers when relegated to the back of the grid. Having said that, Alonso deserved the win, he drove beautifully. |

 This race has a lap 79 annex. Hamilton shot off his mouth and said he was under instruction not to challenge Alonso (of same stable).... an official investigation has now been started.

Nothing will come of it
----------------------------------------It would be naive to think that team instructions are not given during the race. With 18 Constructors points in the offing no one would want that reduced to zero. Mclaren are only guilty of making it a successful day at Monaco  LH just kept Alonso honest. A whole load better than Schumacher disappearing into the distance and then backing off until everyone nearly caught him up. This Monaco was end to end racing. I'd like to know if it was the fastest on record. Superb Dave  |
