Re: The Formula One Thread

Not when you can get a grandstand view free on television plus all the extras of pit stops, on board views and replays of especially interesting items.
So, with a five quid bottle of wine I can relax in a comfortable chair and enjoy the racing.
Any chance of Webber staying in front?

Re: The Formula One Thread

Red Bull Heads, Webber. Red Bull Tails, Vettel.
We are "time zone challenged" for most F1 races. This one starts at 05:00 so too early to pop a cork. I'll have to settle for Harney & Sons English Breakfast. wink
Can anyone catch RBR-Renault in constructor points this season?

Re: The Formula One Thread

Good show by Hamilton but it is Vettel again. I think that was one of the best race starts that I've seen in a while. Off to Monaco ...

Re: The Formula One Thread

Vettel rules OK still but McLaren are catching up with an encouraging second and third place. It's not over 'till it's over.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Having barely had time to catch their breath after a tense Spanish round, the paddock has a little over three days to pack up and shift operations to Monte Carlo for Thursday's opening practice sessions around the punishing Monaco streets. smile They pose a challenge like no other on the Formula One calendar - and one that those involved relish

Yes. Arguably the jewel in the crown for F1 and a tricky course.
Sunday is a huge day for racing here. Starting at 05:00 there is Monaco for F1 followed by the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 and topped off by the NASCAR Coke 600. I hope I stay awake that long. wink

Re: The Formula One Thread

At least they didn't have too far to go between races this time.
