Re: The Formula One Thread

An interesting race; a pity about the mess up at the the beginning but it's good to see that all sorts of teams are now showing they can be in the running and it's no longer a case of a couple of big manufacturers that are in control.

It could be a good run to the end of the season.

Ahhh but the question who will be in the 2nd Ferrari? Luca Badoer was last in Valencia and said he would show what he can do in Spa. He was last of the finishers again! He finished well down and was almost 1.5 seconds a lap slower than the next highest finisher!! I wonder if he is part of the reason the Ferrari's are slow to get up to speed every year? I could miles on the car but providing valuable data is another thing entirely! I am not exactly F1 driver size though, more American football defensive lineman size so the car would need to be fat in the middle and narrow on the ends! But driving for hours on end, lap after lap, would not be a problem! Getting up to F1 speeds apparently is not the goal so I would be okay in that area! I think Fisi ruled himself out at the Press Conference, so is it going to be Gene, Hulkenberg, or someone else?
