point of team?

What is the point of joining a team? do you still get to keep individual stats while on a team?

Yes, you still keep your individual stats.

Teams provide a bit of friendly competition, an edge for recruiting new members, and of course, a bit of fun and socialising.

Re: point of team?

You absolutely keep your points. The fun part is the internal competition and boosting at the same time the team along in competition with other. If you add your country to in the My grid, My Profile, your national flag will also shine a bit more. In effect your individual points are thus used three times.

Now may i tell you about my team.... premise is, you need to learn cloggy-talk. At the home team forum rarely anything other than the language hurting the throat of the untrained is spoken. Beauty is though, the written language does not hurt anyone and there is an extreme hi tolerance for grammatical and spell-erring. :D

Re: point of team?

The page where you join a team states,"Note: Points gained while with a team will remain with that team. " My orriginal question was do you keep your own points? I guess I could refrase the question. Does your own stats reflect your continued crunching while you are on a team? I know that while on a team, my crunching will help the team stats, but will my individual stats continue to grow?

Yes, your points continue to accumulate regardless with or without a team. That'swhy i noted the points being credit 3 times when entering the country and joining a team.

Re: point of team?

Yep, your individual stats follow you wherever you go - its just that those earned whilst at a particular team stay in their team stats - they are in effect 2 seperate entities.

A good team as far as I'm concerned is one thats active, and maybe can offer something outside this forum too.

Strangely enough the PCReview Crew has both those covered laughing
