Re: Client and Win NT

I'm not 100% sure.

However, it probably depends on the service pack level. Have a go with BOINC, and tell us what happens.... http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php

Re: Client and Win NT

I'm thinking that it should. Boinc will work on anything back to Windows 98. (I have a small computer struggling with it.)

Don't look for much from Microsoft:

Windows NT Server 4.0
• Changes in Product Availability and Support

Beginning January 1, 2005, Pay-per-incident and Premier support will no longer be available. This includes security hotfixes. As of January 1, 2005 (or later), online support will no longer be available.

Windows NT Workstation 4.0
• Changes in Product Availability and Support

Online self-help material will be available at least through December 31, 2005.
When the company's servers crash, it will be time to start over.

Per BOINCstats, 105 devices were registered with NT

The forum thread topic abstract printed it this way:

not sure where to stick this but i am going to try here. do any of the WCG clients run on wind...
They do if your electric utility has a "green power option".
